I'd read that Norn names are Northern European in lore and surnames typically fall into two categories including place-names, which technically means Manalainen would qualify, but when I reached the game itself it seemed the NPCs all had Nordic-inspired names like Eir.

Wayfarer foothills is filled with norn that have befriended animals. Imo, Norn don't tame their pet companions, they befriend them.

Yes they are big (so a are the Char are tho maybe not as tall but they are big)but there is no deference wither how tall or short you make the thief it will not in any way (other then personal preference) have any affect on your game play.

In guild wars 1 the Norn were best known for their ability to shapeshift. You would see them in Bear form protecting their outposts or running around the landscapes killing other enemies. In Guild Wars 2 they seem to have just given up on that cool lore and put it into an elite skill that really is underwhelming.

It's just a personal opinion, so you need to look at gallery of armors and decide yourself. I think human eeks out a ahead of Norn on average in-terms of fashion wars 2, but a well-done Norn is miles ahead of a human.
